Shock, George (1878 - 4 Dec 1929)
George Shock, who was injured as a result of a fall from the second story of the Peterson building, at which place he was making his home, two weeks ago, died early Wednesday morning of pneumonia, the disease being a complication following the injuries he received after the accident.
Mr. Shock had been in a serious condition since his accident, suffering with seven broken ribs, and injuries internally, as well as his head and face being injured when cut by glass.
Immediate members of his family have been with him constantly since the accident, and but little hope had been entertained for his recovery.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters and two sons, two of which are living at home. He was fifty-one years of age, and had been a resident of the village of Withee, Clark County, Wis. for the past two years, moving from Stanley to that place.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, and burial will take place in the Stanley Cemetery.
