Mrs. Ellen Marie Clausen died at the home of her son, Hans Clausen, one mile northwest of the city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) Thursday morning of last week, after an illness causing her to be confined to her bed for a little more than a week. The cause of death being old age.

Mrs. Clausen has been a resident of this vicinity for more than thirty years, her husband preceding her in death about twenty-five years ago. She was seventy-seven years of age, and for the past year had been in failing health. She leaves to mourn, one son, Hans,a nd one daughter, Mrs. Soren Rasmussen, both residents of Withee.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Danish Lutheran Church at Withee, Rev. Meikkelsen, pastor, officiating, and burial was made in the family lot of the church cemetery.
