Cranie, Phyllis (Marriage - 9 Mar 1929)
Kenneth Edward Carne, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Crane, formerly of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), was married Saturday morning, March 9, 1929 at 8:30, to Miss Phyllis Cranie of Eau Claire, Wis.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. J. Dixon, Rector at Christ Church, Chippewa Falls, in the presence of immediate relatives.
The bride wore a gown of Lavender lace and carried a shower bouquet of pink roses and lilies of the valley. The groom wore a conventional morning suit.
Immediately after the wedding breakfast, the young couple left for a short trip to Chicago. They will be at home after April 1st at 316 W. Central St., Chippewa Falls.
The groom is a member of the firm E. J. Crane and sons. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Martha M. Cranie and one of Eau Claire's most popular and charming young ladies.
