ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 04/25/1929 Dempsey, Elizabeth
(Marriage - Apr 1929) Gordon King of
this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.), son of Mr. and Mrs. Val King,
former residents of this place, and Miss Elizabeth Dempsey,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Dempsey, were quietly married
Saturday afternoon at Waukegan, Ill. The young couple
left Waukegan immediately following the wedding and went to the
home of the groom's parents at Chiocton, Wis., where they spent two
days visiting, and on Monday returned to this city. Mr. King is
employed at the Owen Canning Co. and has been a steady employee of
that concern for the past several years. The bride, up
until the new years, was saleslady in the store of Carl M.
Stenseth, and at that time resigned her position to go to Neenah,
where she has since been employed. She is a young lady well liked
by those who know her, and she has the best wishes of everyone for
a happy wedded life. They will make their home in this city. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
