Flora Bartholomew of Snapp Electric, Inc., Schofield, and a former Withee
resident, was one of those having the privilege of turning the spade for the
ground breaking ceremony in early October for the new $3,000,000 A & P Store on
Grand Avenue in Wausau. The store is now under construction on the former Snapp
Electric property across from St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Flora Bartholomew was the personal representative of the late Snap whose estate
sold the property for the A & P Store. For a was responsible for all
transactions.
She also was the recipient of another nice honor in September, when she was
given recognition at the Tri-Chapter meeting of the Electrical Apparatus
Service. Association, an international association of electrical apparatus
service centers, held in Milwaukee in September. Miss Bartholomew was recognized
at the meeting as recently being elected to privileged membership in the
association.
