FINAL RITES HELD FOR LEO RUETH, AGE 75 ON SATURDAY, May 4

Services were held Saturday for Leo Rueth, age 75, who died of old age complications on May 1 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were all nephews: Gary Zenz, Edward Perko, Franklin, Leonard and Sylvester Rueth and Paul Bugar.

He was preceded in death by twin sons in infancy, one daughter Mary Ann in 1964; two sisters and two brothers.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.

Mr. Rueth was born September 17, 1892 at Beaver Dam. He moved to the Loyal area in 1900 and farmed until 1945 when he retired and moved to the City of Loyal. He married Agnes in 1924 at Greenwood.

Mr. Rueth was a member of St. Anthony's Church and it's Holy Name Society.

Besides his wife he is survived by four sons, Bernard, Patrick and Edward, Loyal and Herbert of Parma, Idaho; a daughter, Mrs. LaVern [Jayne] Kohlbeck, Marshfield; thirty-five grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph, Neillsville; Peter, and Albert, Loyal; One sister, Miss Veronica Rueth, Whitewater.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
