Carol Rueth, 47, Route 2, Loyal, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Wednesday morning, August 31, 1983.

Services for Mrs. Rueth were at 11 a.m., Friday, September 2, 1983, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Reverend James Logan officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Chester Rybski, Steve Boushon, Paul Carlson, Frank Gleichsner, Laverne Kolbeck and Ralph Rueth.. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled the arrangements.

Carol Slowatyneis was born on June 18, 1936, at Thorp. She was educated at Thorp High School.

On September 3, 1957, she was married at Loyal to Patrick Rueth. They farmed in the Loyal area.

Surviving her are nine children, Jody, Nick, Jannell, Jennifer, Jack, Laura, Lisa and Linda, all of Loyal, and Timothy of Fort Lewis, Wash.; and four brothers, Ted Slowtyniec of Neenah, Malin Slowtyniec of Greenwood, Tom Slowtyniec of Menominee and Nick Slowtyneic of Minnesota; and her mother, Mary Slowtyneic of Owen.

Preceding her in death were her husband; her father; and one infant son.
