Patrick R. Rueth, 48, Route 2, Loyal, died Friday, March 5, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Reverend James Logan officiated and interment was in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Full military rites were conducted by the Loyal American Legion. Serving as pallbearers were Ralph Rueth, Roger Rueth, Charles Rueth, Donald Bangart, David Gleichsner and Frank Gleichsner, Jr. Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, handled arrangements.
A 3:15 Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary and at 8 p.m. Prayer Service were conducted on Monday, March 16.
Patrick Rueth was born on March 17, 1933, at Loyal. He received his education at St. Anthony's School.
He was married to Carol Slawtynice on September 3, 1957, at Loyal. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.
He was a Korean Veteran and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Surviving him are his wife, Carol; nine children, Jannell of EauClaire, and Jody, Jack, Nick, Jennifer, Timothy, Lisa, Lori and Linda, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Andrew [Agnes] Bargander of Loyal; three brothers, Bernard and Edward of Loyal and Herbert of Parma, Idaho; one sister, Mrs. Laverne [Jayne] Kolbeck of Marshfield.
Preceding him in death were one sister, his father and one infant son.
