ALMA HERRICK TORMEY PASSED AWAY THURSDAY

Alma Herrick Tormey, 52, plassed away at St. Joseph's hospital in Marshfield, Thursday morning at 8:15. She was a resident of Withee for the past 21 years. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church at Withee, Rev. James Irish officiating, with burial at Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Tormey was born in Madison, October 24, 1888. She was a graduate of the Medford high school and of the State Teachers College at Oshkosh. After graduation she followed the teaching profession for nine years.

In 1912 she was united in marriage to Frank Tormey of Stanley. To this union was born three children, Wayne, Cecil and Keith, of Withee.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and three sons; an aged father; three brothers, Grant of Curtiss, Ben of Montello, Earl of Packwaukee; and four sisters, Mrs. C. (Myrtle) Ravy of Unity, Mrs. S. (Frances) Clark of Polly, Mrs. P. (Hazel) Labenz of Packwaukee, Mrs. C. (Fern) Ford of Pardeeville; also a number of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
