Frances Mary Langfeldt, 85, Loyal. died Tuesday, July 26, 1994, at St. Joseph's Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 1994, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Father Roman Kaiser will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Wirkus, Scott Oestreich, Kyle Bender, Jeff Langfeldt, Pat Langfeldt, Mike Langfeldt, Ben Langfeldt and Chris Langfeldt.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. A parish rosary will be at 4:15 p.m., prayer service at 8 p.m. and Knights of Columbus rosary at 8:30 p.m.
Frances Mary Rueth was born on June 1, 1909, to Frank and Bertha [nee Schweiger] Rueth. She received her education at St. Anthony's Catholic School. She married Max Langfeldt on Jan. 7, 1930, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He preceded her in death. She spent most of her life in Loyal. She helped with the Red Cross for many years, was den mother for the Cub Scouts, a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women, and a member of various card clubs.
Survivors include four daughters, Helen [Norm] Polasek, Green Bay; Lois [Tom] Wirkus, LaCrosse; Joann [Donald] Oestreich, Loyal; and Bonnie Bender, Beaver Dam; five sons, Robert [Darlene] Langfeldt, Loyal; Alan [Barb] Langfeldt, Loyal; Herb [Donna] Langfeldt, Loyal; Dan [Karlene] Langfeldt, Madison; and Steve Langfeldt, New Jersy; 33 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Marion Elsinger, Loyal; and one brother, Leonard Rueth, Greenwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one daughter, Diane Langfeldt; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; one brother; one sister.
Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
