Marjorie Elizabeth Rueth, 73, Loyal, died on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, in the emergency room at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held on 11 a.m., on Friday, June 23, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. The Rev. Roman Kaiser officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Clarence Henchen, Keith Weyhmiller, James Helm, Robert Rueth, Charles Rueth, and Bill Rueth.
Marjorie Elizabeth Bauer was born on Jan. 8, 1927, in Loyal, to Paul and Lorrine [nee Hubing] Bauer. She received her education at St. Anthony's Catholic School. She married Bernard "Bun" Rueth on Nov. 28, 1945, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. She was a homemaker and also worked at Land O' Lakes, Spencer, from 1973-1989. She loved gardening, sewing, canning, and fishing. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and St. Helen's Circle.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bernard "Bun" Rueth, Loyal; his [?her] daughter, Marilee [Gary] Trudeau, West Salem, her son, James [Sharon] Rueth, Pittsville, two grandchildren, Michelle Rueth, Pittsville, and Zakkery Trudeau, West Salem; two sisters, Phyllis [Dick] Erickerson, Texas, and Doris[Vincent] Braun, Loyal; and three brothers, Robert [Dickie] Bauer, Loyal, Harvey [Louise] Bauer, Loyal, and James [Lucille] Braun, Marshfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard Bauer
Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with arrangements.
