Franklin [Fritz] Rueth, 76, Loyal, died Monday, Feb. 17, 1992, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 1992, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Rev. Roman Kaiser will officiate and burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark, Mike, Scott, Rick and Cory Rueth, and Arnie Becker.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1992, at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m.
Franklin Rueth was born Jan. 31, 1916, in Loyal, to Frank and Bertha [nee Schweiger] Rueth He received his education at Loyal School.
He married Agnes Brzezinski May 31, 1939, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She survives. He farmed all his life in the town of Loyal, and also ran Fritz Rueth Excavating. He also worked for the town of Loyal as patrolman. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kathy Rueth, Spencer; and Mrs. Jack [Vicki] Kadolph, Loyal; five sons, Larry Rueth, Loyal; Ronald Rueth, Loyal; Richard Rueth, Nevada; Terry Rueth, Loyal; and Paul Rueth, Spencer; one brother, Leonard Rueth, Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Langfeldt and Mrs. Marion Elsinger, both of Loyal; 20 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, John; one daughter, Margie; and one sister, Roselyn Beaver.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
