PETKE-BACON WEDDED IN MINNEAPOLIS
Miss Ruth Bacon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Bacon of this city, and Ernest Petke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Petke of Withee, were united in marriage at a quiet ceremony performed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minn., on Saturday, Feb. 21. The ceremony was held late in the afternoon and was read by the pastor of the parish.
The bride wore a beige and brown ensemble and wore an orchid corsage.
Miss Bacon attended the Owen public school and has been employed in an office at Chippewa Falls as a stenographer.
The groom worked for some time in Milwaukee but for the past several months has been on a farm north of Withee where they will make their home.
