LOCAL PEOPLE MARRIED IN WINNETKA FRIDAY
Dorothy Hemminger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hemminger of Withee and Harry Bower, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Bower of Owen, were united in marriage at eight o'clock Friday evening, June 19.
The quiet little wedding took place in the Christ Church Chapel in Winnetka and the bride and groom's attendants were Harriet Hemminger, the bride's sister, and Walter Warns of Onarga, Ill. Adele Hemminger of Withee was also present at the wedding.
Dorothy wore a pale yellow suit with corsage of white gardenias, white hat and shoes. Harry was dressed in gray with a white carnation on his lapel. The bridesmaid wore a light blue suit with pink corsage and white shoes. The best man wore a gray suit with a white carnation, as the groom.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Rasmussen, the groom's sister and her husband. Friends gathered on Saturday night to celebrate the occasion.
