M. G. DUNCAN WEDDED TO MILWAUKEE GIRL

In a nuptial ceremony which was performed in the Duncan Apartment in Clark County Hospital, Owen, Saturday afternoon, Sept. 26, 1942, at 4:30 o'clock, two pioneer Wisconsin families were joined together when Miss Hazel L. Crocker, daughter of L. A. Crocker, West Allis, and the late Mrs. Crocker, became the bride of Myron G. Duncan, son of Mrs. Myron H. Duncan, and the late Mr. Duncan, of Owen.

Mrs. A. E. Crocker, West Allis, sister-in-law of the bride, was matron of honor; and Miss Gerogia Guerger, Milwaukee, women't athletic director at Marquette University, maid of honor, Best Man was Earle W. Kidd, of Owen, a member of the State Welfare Board, and ushers included Gordon Bahr of Wausau, and A. E. Crocker.

Groom was opera singer

Mrs. W. K. Doonan, Owen, played Lohengrin's wedding march and at the reception at the Clark County Hospital following the ceremony Mrs. George Krom and Mrs. Al Altenberg poured. Large bouquets of white roses and gardenias decorated the rooms.

After a northern honeymoon trip the newly weds will return to Owen, where the groom is the superintendent of the Clark County Hospital. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, Mr. Duncan, a tenor operatic star, who studied in Italy, is a former siner with the Chicago Civic and Metropolitan opera companies. His bride, who attended Carroll College and is a Beta Sigma Phi, for the past 17 years has been chief policy inspector for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co., Milwaukee.

Previous to her marriage Miss Crocker was feted at numerous parties and showers in Milwaukee.

After Oct. 5, they will be at home to their friends at the Clark County Hospital, which Mr. Duncan has superintended for sic and on-half years.
