Mrs. Byron Bassett who we reported last week as having gone to Oshkosh for medical treatment died at that place on Sunday, March 20. An operation for gall stones was peformed, but she succumbed to the grim monster "death" soon after the operation. She brought home Monday evening and the funeral took place Wednesday afternoon for the M.E. church, Rev. J. A. Hill officiating. Interment took place in the York Center cemetery. Deceased leaves besides her husband, three daughters, one son, her aged father and mother, three brothers and three sisters to mourn for her. To the bereaft ones, we extend oure heartfelt sympathy.
