David William Benedict, the 5-year-old son of Mr. And Mrs. Morvin Benedict, died at the Neillsville hospital at 9 a.m. Thursday morning. David had spent most of his life in the hospital and through it was a patient sufferer. The funeral was held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Meyer funeral home at Loyal and at 2 p.m. at the York Center Methodist church, Rev. Lee Holmes officiating. Burial was in the York Center cemetery. David was born February 12, 1944, and is survived by his parents and a brother, Kenneth, 2. Those from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Clara Hackbert and son Irvin of Rio, Wis., Mrs. Elmer Kink of Cambria, Wis. and Carl Peterson of Arlington, Wis.
