Mrs. Archie (Mamie) Dorn, 80, Owen, died of complications early Wednesday morning. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday a the Myre Funeral Home in Loyal. The Rev. Paul Doering, pastor of the Methodist Church at Loyal, will officiate and burial will be made in the town of York cemetery. Friends May call a the Myre Funeral Home beginning this afternoon. The former Mamie Rondorf was born Feb. 6, 1883 in the town of York, where she taught school prior to her marriage. On Oct. 7, 1906, she married Archie Dorn at Spokane, Wash., where the couple resided for several years. They then returned to the home farm in the town of York, and a few years later they moved to a farm northeast of Loyal where they lived until 1935, when they purchased a farm in the town of York. After her husband's death in September of 1957, Mrs. Dorn made her home with her children. Three years ago she entered the Clark County Hospital at Owen. Mrs. Dorn is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Ansel (Lucille) Peterson, Marshfield; two sons, Dale, New Lisbon; and Lowell, Abbotsford; a brother, R. J. Rondorf, Mound, Minn.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
