Maude A. Eppers, 88, Chili, died at 7:06 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, 1989 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 16, 1989 at York Center Methodist Church, Granton. Rev. C. Arlene Denzer officiated the service and burial was in the York Center Methodist Cemetery. Maude A. Eppers was born August 4, 1901 to Peter Biddleand Elizabeth (Wright) Biddle in Thorp. She received her education in the town of Reseburg. On May 3, 1928 she married Arnold R. Eppers in Cornell. After her marriage they farmed in the Thorp and Stanely areas until 1943 when they moved to Chippewa Falls, where they lived until 1945 and then moved to a farm in the Chili area. She resided at the farm until a year ago when she entered the Marshfield Living Center due to failing health. Her husband died April 21, 1975. She is survived by one son, Glen D. Eppers, Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, three sisters and six brothers.
