Funeral services for Kenneth A. Grabe, 75, former Neillsville area resident who died at Wisconsin Veterans Hospital at Wood, Tuesday, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday at the York Center Methodist Church with the Rev. Gene Carlson, Loyal, officiating. Burial will follow in the York Center cemetery. Friends May call at Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville until Friday noon and then at the church. Mr. Grabe was born November 25, 1896, at Granton, and received his education there. He was married in 1925, to the former Amelia Arndt and they farmed in the York Center and Neillsville areas. He also had been employed by the Kimberly Clark Corporation at Neenah. He entered the armed forces during World War I, on Oct. 21, 1918, and was discharged on Dec. 17, 1918. For the past 10 years he had been a patient at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Wood. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert, Berlin; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Donald, and two sisters, Mamie and Mabel.
