Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church here for Bert Hayden, 83, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack Tuesday morning at his home in Granton. The Rev. Wendel Bennetts, Plainfield; and the Rev. Oscar Nichols; Neillsville, will officiate. Burial will be made in the York Center cemetery. The body will repose at the Gilbertson Funeral Home from Thursday morning until noon Friday, and then at the church. Mr. Hayden was a member of the Modern Woodmen, and the Granton Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Jennie Winn Graves; two stepchildren, Arleigh Graves, Granton; and Mrs. Fred (Glyde) Steinich, Menomonee Falls; a brother, Lou Hayden, Merrilan; a nephew, Everett Gardner, Mayville; and a niece, Mrs. Eileen Lamods, Stoughton. Two sisters preceeded him in death.
