TRANSCRIBED TEXT:
Died, at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Walter Lawrence, July 18th, 1907, little Claude Dean Lawrence, aged two years, ten months, and two days. He was ill but six days. Little Claudie was born to Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Lawrence Sept. 14, 1904. Mrs. Lawrence will be remembered as Miss Edna Dean who died Dec. 9, 1904, leaving two children, Naomi aged two years and six months and Claudie two and one-half months. Mr. & Mrs. Walter Lawrence took the little one just six days before its mother's death and have kept him since that time until he died, and loved him as their own. In the death of little Claudie we fully realize their loss. Nothing but the thought of the Loving Hand that has removed him can reconcile their aching hearts. He was a most patient little sufferer, uttering not a murmur or complaint. While he has gone from the sorrows of this life he will still live in the hearts of those who loved him best. The funeral which was held at the M.E. church in York Center was largely attended, Rev. C.H. Towne officiating.
A precious one from us has gone, a voice we loved is stilled, a place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled. God is His wisdom has recalled, the _____ his love has given, and though the body slumbers here, the soul is safe in heaven.
