Gilbert Lawrence, 58, route 1, Granton, died on an apparent heart attack late Monday afternoon at his home in the Town of York. The body was discovered by his wife when she returned home from work. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the York Center Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the York Center Cemetery. The body will lie in state beginning Wednesday at Georgas Funeral Home in Neillsville.
