Died - About 12 o'clock Thursday night, January 28th, in her 68th year, Mrs. Anna McKenzie, wife of David McKenzie, Sr. She had been ailing for some time but was not considered dangerous until the day she died. She was able to sit at the table and eat dinner with the family the day she died. She leaves a husband, two sons and six daughters. They are all married except for one son. The funeral was held Sunday at the M.E. Church at the Center. The remains were placed in the cemetery at York Center. The church was not large enough to admit all of the congregation, and some of them had to stay outside. The sermon was preached by Rev. W. T. Hendren, she having been a member of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. D. McKenzie was not able to attend the funeral as he had an attack of the grippe.
