Funeral services for Forrest Rowe, former resident of the Town of York who died at Iron Mountain, Michigan, were held at the York Center Church Friday afternoon. Services at the funeral home were held at 2 o'clock and at the church at 2:30. Mr. Rowe was born in the Town of York on August 8, 1892 and was married to Grace Campbell in 1904 (actually 1913). He lived on the farm of his father, William Rowe, until about six years ago, when he moved with family to Iron Mountain. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Merlie, 17, Lynn, 13, and Hazel, 10. Three brothers and a sister also survive. They are Walter, Town of York, Glen, Milwaukee, Vernon, McCleary, Washington, and Mrs. A. P. Fulwiler, Town of York.
