Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Rowe, 77, Route 1, Granton, who died Sunday, were held Wednesday at the York Center Methodist Church. The Rev. Willard Mecklenburg officiated and burial took place in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Loren and George Hales, Jesse and Ray Mortimer, and Paul Frischmann and Ed Voight. Mrs. G. W. Nelson and Mrs. Calvin Prior sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Saved by Grace," with Mrs. Byron Zepplin, accompanist. Out-of-town persons who attended the rites were Mr. & Mrs. William Miller, Clintonville; Mr. & Mrs. Gilbert Ahlborn and Lynn Rowe, Minocqua; Mr. & Mrs. Hugh Minnis and Mrs. Roe Rodgers, Riceville, Iowa; Mr. & Mrs. Alvin Palmer and Mr. & Mrs. Harold Bennett, Oakfield; Mr. & Mrs. Byrl Rowe, Owen; Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Rowe, Bloomer; Mrs. Elsie Rowe, Lansing, Michigan; Mr. & Mrs. Elmer Root, Tripoli; Mrs. Fred Kelley and daughter, Linda, Hurley; Mrs. G. F. Lynch, Rhinelander; Mrs. Leonard Allorie, Merrill; Mr. & Mrs. W. G. Edens and sons, Darrell and Duane, Alden, Illinois; Mr. & Mrs. Leland Bandelow, Menomonie; Mr. & Mrs. L. E. Root, Colfax; and Mrs. Thomas Kennedy, Chicago.
