Donald Turner, 60, of Neillsville, passed away at his residence, July 1, 1994, of cancer. Services were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at United Church of Christ in Neillsville with the Rev. Gene Lackore officiating. Pallbearers were friends. Burial was in York Center Cemetery. The body lay in state at Gesche Funeral Home Monday, July 4, 1994, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the Church on Tuesday. Turner was born July 19, 1933, in Neillsville to George and Margaret (Geisler) Turner. He married Kathleen Hagen, September 1, 1956, in Neillsville. He received his education in Neillsville. Turner was self-employed in the feed pig business for time after his education. He was a member of General Laborers Local 317 of Eau Claire and worked in the construction industry for 30 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Turner was a member of the United Church of Christ in Neillsville. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Barb) Miller, Neillsville. He was predeceased by two sisters in infancy and one at a young age, and his parents.
