Pamela Gene Zvolena, 51, Greenwood, died Sunday, November 2, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, on Wednesday, November 5, from 5 - 9 p.m., and at the church on Thursday, November 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 1997, at York Center United Methodist Church. Rev. Evan Butterbrodt and Rev. Steve Groves will officiate. Burial will be in the York Center Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers will be Daniel Burns, John Zvolena, Ronald Denowh, Jesse Zvolena, Roger Zvolena, and Theodore Zvolena. Pamela Gene Flint was born on April 30, 1946, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Eugene Ansil Flint and LaVonne Frances (nee Smith) Flint. At the age of 2, she moved with her family to South Dakota. Her father was in the military and the family moved often. After four years in South Dakota, they spent four years in Puerto Rico, before moving to Avon Park, Florida in 1958. She graduated from school there and also attended business school for one year. She worked for the Civil Service at Patrick Air Force Base for two years. She then worked for the State of Florida in Tallahassee for two years. In 1972, she moved to Chili. She worked for Weyerhauser as a key punch operator. She married Michael D. Zvolena on July 7, 1973, at the Loyal Methodist Church. They moved to Colorado in 1983. They moved to Loyal in 1987 and she worked at the Marshfield Clinic doing key punch. She was a past member of Loyal Jaycees and a member of York Center Methodist Church. She resided at home until her death. Survivors include her husband, Michael, Greenwood; one daughter, Melanie Zvolena, Stevens Point; one son, Jeremy Zvolena, Greenwood; one sister, Candice (Ronald) Denowh, Spokane, Washington; her grandmother, Martha Harmel, Marshfield; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Rinka Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
