John Joseph Zvolena, 42, Loyal, died at 3:29 p.m. on June 30, 1999, as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at York Center Methodist Church in Granton. The Rev. Evan Butterbrodt will officiate. Burial will be at the York Center Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bruce Trampush, Jerry Nikolai, Paul Becker, Arnold Wirtz, Brian Schiferi and Josh Zvolena. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Rinka Funeral Home in Loyal and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. John Joseph Zvolena was born July 24, 1956, in Neillsville to Joseph and Leona (Jadack) Zvolena. He attended Loyal public schools and graduated form Loyal High School in 1974. He served in the United States Army, from 1974 to 1977, stationed in Germany. John and Cindy Wiesman were married October 21, 1978, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratford. He operated a dairy farm with his brother south of Loyal since the marriage. He was a member of the York Center United Methodist Church and the American Legion of Loyal, Post 175 and he was a former member of the Jaycees. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed bowling with his team and deer hunting. He looked forward to the annual fishing trips to Canada with his family. John loved working with his hands and found woodworking very enjoyable. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving family and close friends. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Zvolena; his children, Andy, Amber, Lee and Kurt, all at home; his parents, Joe and Leona Zvolena of Loyal; three sisters, Judy (Dave) Lord of Cotpaxi, Colorado, Barb (Bill) Kortokrax) of Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Cindy (Dan) Burns of Marshfield; four brothers, Jesse (Yvette) Zvolena of Loyal, Mike Zvolena of Greenwood, Ted(Pat) Zvolena of Loyal and Roger (Lori) Zvolena of Spencer. He is further survived by his parents-in-law, Vic and Rita Wiesman of Marshfield; and by many nephews and nieces.
