Peterson, Gust (22 APR 1880 - 20 Mar 1947)

Funeral services were conducted for Gust Peterson by Rev. L. C. Bundgaard of Withee, on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Griebenow Funeral Home with interment in Riverside Cemetery. He passed away at 6 o'clock on the morning of March 20, 1947, at the age of 66 years.

Mr. Peterson was born on April 22, 1880 in Sweden. He came to this country in 1903 and resided in Rock Island, Ill., and in Ladysmith, before settling on his farm 2 1/2 miles northwest of Withee, Clark County, Wis. in 1925.

His wife, Cecilia, whom he married on July 10, 1913, preceded him in death on June 17, 1940. He leaves to mourn his passing three sons, John, Henry and Richard, and one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Frances) Sorenson, besides a sister and two brothers who reside in Sweden.

Pallbearers were Tom Miller, Hans Hansen, Howard Watson, Rudolph Borgeson, Arnold Rasmussen and Art Laine.

Flower girls were Mrs. Sig Sorenson, Shirley Sorenson, Helen Hansen, Lorraine Watson, Mrs. Grant Anderson and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen.
