Owen, Florence E. (? - 3 Jan 1949)
Mrs. A. R. Owen, a pioneer resident of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis., passed away at her home on Monday evening, Jan. 3, 1949.
Born Florence Elizabeth Benson at Lake City, Minn., she came to Owen immediately after her marriage, Oct. 20, 1897.
She was for many years active in the affairs and development of this community, and was particularly interest in the work of St. Katherine's Church.
Mrs. Owen is survived by her husband, Aloney R. Owen, a son, John S. Owen of Milwaukee, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas D. Sargent of Hartford, Conn., and five grandsons.
Private funeral services were conducted from the home at two o'clock this afternoon and burial will be made in the family lot at the Riverside Cemetery.
