Auberg, Harold (5 JUL 1919 - 27 Jul 1947)
Harold Auberg, aged 28, was laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Riverside Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. from the Griebenow Funeral Home with the Rev. Bundgaard officiating.
Pallbearers at the service were Norbert Bruchert, Ed Linjer, Ernest Cizik, Robert McAdam, James and Art Whittemore. Flower girls were Betty and Leona Blunck, Mae Bruchert, Marjorie Cizik, Beverly Poppe, Rose Stock, Alma Krarup and Gladys Plaman.
Harold Auberg was born at Withee, Clark County, Wis. on July 5, 1919, where he made his home all of his life. His health for the past several years had been poor, and for the past five weeks he had been hospitalized at Mount Washington Sanitarium at Eau Claire, where he passed away on Sunday, July 27, 1947.
Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Bertha Auberg, four brothers, Anton, Bernard, Roy and Gordon, and one sister, Mrs. Martin (Laura) Paulsen, besides a host of friends whose admiration he had won through long friendships.
