RASMUS JORGENSEN RITES READ WEDNESDAY

Funeral services were conducted for Rasmus Jorgensen, 76, at the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Withee on Wednesday afternoon, April 23, Rev. L. C. Bundgaard officiating.

His health had been poor for the past year, and three days previous to his passing away, on Monday, April 21, he was admitted to St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield for treatment.

Mr. Jorgensen was born at Harsens, Denmark, on Sept. 18, 1870, and came to America at an early age. He lived in Kenosha for a few years before settling on a farm south east of Withee. He lived there until 1939, when failing health compelled him to give up farming. He had ever since made his home in Withee and had gained for himself a number of close friends, who will miss him and mourn his passing.

Mr. Jorgensen had for many years been a member of the Danish Brotherhood Society.
