Elker, Ellen E. (26 Mar 1877 - 28 Jul 1906)
Mrs. John Elker died last Saturday afternoon after an illness of but a few days duration. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon from the M. E. Church, Rev. Haskell officiating. The remains were interred in the Mentor Cemetery. She leaves to mourn her death a husband, three children, Charles, Paul and Martha, aged 8, 7, and 4 respectively, a mother, Mrs. Comstock, a grandmother, Mrs. Wesley, Four sisters, Mrs. Chambers, Mrs. Steve Smith, Mrs. Will Miller, of this vicinity, and Mrs. Mattie Wesley of Canada, and also a large number of friends.
Ellen E. Comstock was born in Minnesota March 26, 1877 and died at her home in Humbird, Clark County, Wis. July 28, 1906. She moved here when four years of age and was united in marriage with John Elker on June 20, 1896, living here ever since.
The sympathy of all is with the sorrowing relatives and especially the little ones, in their affliction.
