Bolling, Martha C. (21 Apr 1898 - 23 Sep 1907)
The Death Angel entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Bolling last Monday morning and took their little girl to the Home on high.
Martha Caroline was born April 21, 1898, and died at 9:15 in the morning of Sept 23, 1907, after an illness of about a month with appendicitis, the last two weeks of which was aggravated by some throat trouble. She suffered little pain, but gradually faded away, as the flower fades and the leaves turn at the first frosts of autumn. The funeral services were held at the home Wednesday morning, conducted by Rev. H. W. Hills, and the remains were taken to Osseo for burial. Mrs. Bolling was unable to attend the services at the grave, but the bereaved father was accompanied on the sad journey by Rev. Hills, Miss Stohl, Mrs. Hart and Alice, Mrs. Young, Mr. Franklin and Mr. Fradenburg. The interment was in the family lot in the cemetery near their former home.
The sympathies of all friends and neighbors in this vicinity are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Bolling in their hour of deepest sorrow.
