Blecha, Mary A. (Marriage - 30 Sep 1908)
Miss Mary A. Blecha of the town of Eaton, Clark Co., Wis., and Mr. Wm. H. Kubat of this village (Humbird, Clark County), were united in marriage at the Catholic Church at Loyal on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1908, at eight o'clock in the morning. The Rev. Joseph Stenz, former priest of this parish, performed the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by her brother and sister, Mr. John and Miss Anna Blecha, and the groom was attended by his brother and sister, Mr. John and Miss Mary Kubat.
After a short trip Mr. and Mrs. Kubat arrived in this village on Monday morning, where thy will make their home. The groom is among the successful and popular young men of this vicinity, having been in charge of the creamery since its institution several years ago. He is a graduate of the state dairy school and has a high standing in his chosen occupation in the state. His bride, although a stranger in our midst, is a popular young lady in her home circles. She has the qualifications to make a happy home. May the future be gracious to them in years of happiness and success.
For the present Mr. and Mrs. Kubat are making their home at Commercial, but expect to begin housekeeping soon in the S. S. Andrus house.
