Putman, Lila M. (Marriage - 9 NOV 1908)
One of the nicest home wedding, which has occurred in this vicinity (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) for some time, took place last Monday evening, Nov. 9, 1908, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Putman, when their youngest daughter, Miss Lila M., was made the wife of Mr. Luzi Schneller.
At precisely eight o'clock the bride and groom, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Peter O'Leary, took their places in the parlor of the Putman home, when Justice Travis spoke the words that united them for the journey through life. The bride was prettily attired in a wedding dress of red garnet silk, while the groom wore the conventional black. After the marriage ceremony the party of relatives present bestowed their congratulations and best wishes upon Mr. and Mrs. Schneller and then all were invited to the dining room, where an elaborate wedding feast had been prepared by the bride's mother. The remainder of the evening was devoted to music and singing.
Both Mr. Schneller and his bride are well known young people of this vicinity, having grown to manhood and womanhood here. They will make their home on the Schneller farm with the groom's mother, and have already begun housekeeping there, where all
