Crobar, William (5 APR 1828)
William Crobar was born April 5, 1828, at Matilda Canada, and came to this part of the country about thirty-five years ago. He was married to Sarah Serviss, Jan. 14, 1860, who died here (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.) Oct. 29, 1901. Mr. Crobar is the father of ten children, three of whom are dead. Except for five years during which he lived at Black River Falls, he has been a continuous resident of Humbird since he landed her in 1870. Mr. Crobar thinks well of the improvements in our village, but wishes to refrain from giving his opinion on the street lamps, pleading as his excuse, that he has seen them only in daylight.
