Crandell, Chester (4 Apr 1829)
Chester Crandell was born at West Ontario, Canada, April 4, 1829. He married Miss Anna Bell Hart in Jan. 1853 and came to Greenbush township, Sheboygan Co., Wis. in 1861. The lived there fourteen years and then they moved to their old farm one mile east of town (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.). Eleven children were born to them, five of who are living. Mr. Crandell thinks Humbird should have the credit for its fine religious privileges and fine school, and also for its ambitious businessmen, improved condition of the streets and good dairy business.
