Art Jensen, 85, of 309 Hudson Street, Eau Claire, died Saturday, November 19, 1977 at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.

Mr. Jensen was born in Chicago, Illinois and married Thyra Rubardt on November 4, 1960 in Chicago. He attended Marquette University and graduated from Drake University Pharmacy School, Des Moines, Iowa.

Art Jensen is well known in the Owen area, as he was a member of the firm of Jensen Brothers Drugs Stores, in Owen, Withee, Rice Lake, Eau Claire and Minneapolis from 1912 until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Thyra, a daughter, Peg Werner of Roseford, Ohio, a sister Mrs. H.S. Kirkhoff of Eau Claire, two grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held today, Tuesday, November 22, 1977 from Grace Lutheran Church, and burial will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire. There will be no visitation.

Memorials are requested to be designated to Luther Hospital or the American Heart Association.
