Alvin Butterbrodt, 77, Abbotsford, buried here

Funeral services for Alvin Butterbrodt, 77, Abbotsford, were held Sunday, November4, at 3 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby with Rev. F. Sprengher, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church of Dorchester officiating. Burial was made in the Loyal cemetery. He suffered a heart attack at his home November 1.

Mr. Buttetbrodt was born February 1 [7 SSDI], 1885 At Beaver Dam and was married September 27, 1910 at Princeton to Bertha Reu [Rau]. The couple farmed in Dodge county until 1917 when they came to the Loyal and Greenwood area. They retired in 1952 and moved to Abbotsford. Mrs. Butterbrodt died in 1960.

He is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Allen [Irene] Hepner, Chicago; Mrs. John [Lorraine] Brown, Fall Creek; Mrs. Robert [Delhia] Susa, Greenwood; and Mrs. Thomas [Beverly] Stirmel, Delavan; two sons, William of Loyal and Allison of Chicago; 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Relatives attending came from Chicago, Eau Claire, Beaver Dam, Fox Lake, Fox City, Loyal, Greenwood and Abbotsford.
