GRANTON - Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Gilbertson Funeral Home here for Frank Robert Lavey, 83, a former resident of Route 1, Granton, who died Tuesday morning at the Bethel Convalescent Home at Arpin. He had been living at Bethel for the last 13 months. The Rev. Charles J. Swanson will officiate at the final rites and burial will take place in the Windfall Cemetery.

Mr. Lavey was born in Calumet County September 28, 1872. His wife preceded him in death May 19, 1925. He is survived by three children, Mrs. George (Pearl) Williams, Pittsville; Harold, Jerseyville, Illinois; and Glen, Route 1, Neillsville; a sister, Mrs. Emma Sengpiel, Milwaukee; a brother, Edward, Calumet County; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and three sisteres.
