GRANTON - Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. today at the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton and at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville for Joseph McMahon, 91, Route 1, Granton, who died Saturday morning at the Clark County Hospital in Owen. The Rev. Bernard T. Kelley officiated, and burial was made in St. Mary’s cemetery. Pallbearers were Harold Garbisch, Donald Sladek, Frank Walters, Steve Lepori, Roy Teatz, Roy Teatz and Louis Walters. Joseph McMahon was born January 4, 1873, in New York. He came to the Town of York as a small boy and lived here until two years ago when he entered the Clark County Hospital. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Dupree Wooten, Chicago; and Mrs. Glen Lavey, Neillsville.
