Bergman, Frank (1885? - 5 May 1914)
Frank Bergman, son of Anton Bergman of Fairview, Jackson Co., died Tuesday night at a Madison Hospital, following a general breakdown from over study. Mr. Bergman was an exemplary young man and his first studies were for the priesthood. Having to relinquish his studies on account of failing health, he returned home. He then gave up his heart's desire of entering the service of the church, and became interested in agricultural pursuits. As his health was partially regained he entered the agricultural college at Madison. Again he was obliged to give up his college work, and although given all possible medical aid, he passed away in the 29th year of his life. The body was brought to Humbird, Clark County, Wis. Wednesday evening, and taken to his home in Fairview. The interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
