Vernie F. Suckow
Vernie Suckow, age 94, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Memorial Nursing Home in Neillsville.
Vernie Frank Suckow was born on April 27, 1909 in the Town of Weston, the son of Rudolph and Halana (Miller) Suckow. He attended area schools and then worked with his family on the family farm. Vernie also liked to help with the shop work at Suckow's Shop and Feed Mill.
Vernie enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and fishing.
He is survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy and Francis, and one sister, Viletta.
Funeral services for Vernie were held Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor John Brouwer officiated. Interment was in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
The Gesche Funeral Home assisted Vernie's family with arrangements.
