Stallard, Maud (Marriage - 2 Apr 1913)
On Wednesday evening of this week, a happy wedding was celebrated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stallard, when their daughter, Miss Maud, became the wife of Mr. Evan O. Leonard. Rev. F. M. Prucia, the Methodist pastor, officiated. The ceremony was performed in the presence of only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, after which a dainty wedding supper was served by the bride's mother.
The bride was the recipient of numerous useful wedding gifts from relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard left on the 10:33 train for a wedding trip to Sparta, after which they will leave for Montana to make their future home. The groom has taken a homestead near Great Falls, where, with the assistance of his estimable young bride, he will carve a fine farm out of the virgin soil of the west.
Our congratulations and best wishes go with them. May their be a long, happy and prosperous journey through life.
