Barr, Leota (Marriage - 24 Sep 1913)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barr, east of town (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.), was again the scene of a happy wedding on Wednesday afternoon of this week. The occasion was the marriage of their daughter Miss Leota, and Mr. Oscar Thompson. Rev. F. M. Prucia spoke the mystic words that made them husband and wife, in the presence of the families of the young people, after which all partook of a dainty wedding dinner.
The groom is one of Jackson County's promising young men, his home being near Black River Falls. He is now employed as buttermaker in the creamery at Irving, where he has taken his bride and where they will establish their home. Among those from out of town who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Thompson, parents of the groom, from the Falls, and Andrew Barr of Fairchild.
