Jim's Dairy Bar was owned by William F. Neuenfeldt was first operated by his son, James Neuenfeldt followed by Raymond "Bud" Ackerman, Mr. & Mrs. Russell Edwards, and Gerald Neuenfeldt (another of Wm. Neuenfeldt's sons).

*The "Ice Cream Review, described Parkin's as a "dream plant" for the average size ice cream maker. John Parkin took it over from his father and expanded the product line to include a number of specialty dairy products such as cottage cheese and molded popsicles. Two well-known local products were the chocolate and butterscotch covered "Susy Bars," and the molded popsicles called "Todd Twins," both named for the Parkin children. More Information |
 12 Jun 1951 NEW BUSINESS MEN During the past week there have been two new changes in business personnel in the city of Greenwood, Wis. They are: Mr. and Mrs. Russ Edwards of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. who too over the Dairy Bar which was run by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ackerman, and Dan Morrison who took over the barber shop which had been run by Carl Fredel. Mr. Morrison is from Marshfield. We wish to extend a hearty welcome to these newcomers to Greenwood, and at the same time hope that their new business ventures will prove successful to them. William F. Neuenfeldt died in 1961 and after suffering a heart attack the next year, his son, Jerry, was pronounced dead at the Marshfield hospital, having died in the ambulance while enroute. He was just 39 years old.
