William Oldham, age 95,of Neillsville, WI, died Wednesday, March 4,1998 at the Clark Co. Health Care Center in Owen, WI.
William A Oldham was born on Dec. 18,1902 in Neillsville the son of William and Emma (Boll) Oldham. He attended Neillsville area schools and later worked for the City of Neenah as a Grader operator. In 1941 he purchased a farm in Globe, which he operated until 1951. After selling his farm Bill went back to work for the city of Neenah. William was married to Olive Arndt on June 10, 1925 and she died on October 3, 1962.
Surviving are his son, Calvin (Rita) Oldham of Land-O-Lakes, WI; two brothers, Lafayette (Ruth) Oldham of Ohio and Florida and Ray (Dorothy) Oldham of Neillsville; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Hagedorn; two brothers; Joseph and Charles; and two sisters; Daisy Rodman and Genevieve Kalsow.
The funeral service for William was held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 1998 at the Gesche Funeral Home. Pastor Craig Conklin officiated. Music was provided by Eileen Zank, organist. Burial was in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation was from 5 to 8p.m. Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home.
