Oldham, Guy (5 March 1896 - 8 March 1976)

Mr. Oldham, the son of William and Nellie (Gill) Oldham, was born March 5, 1896, in the town of Levis and was educated in local schools. He worked on farms and in lumbering camps as a young man, then moved to Eau Claire, where he lived for the past 50 years. Mr. Oldham, who worked at various jobs in the Eau Claire area was last employed by the Fred Peihl Company as a landscaper.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock from Georgas-Gesche Funeral home for an area native, Guy Oldham, 80, who died March 8, 1976, at the Eau Claire Manor nursing home. The Rev. Earnest Maki of the Pentecostal Church of Eau Claire officiated and burial was in the town of Levis Cemetery on Rt. 3. The body was in state from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of the service.

The body was to be in state from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Survivors include one half-sister, Mrs. Ray (Genevieve) Kalsow of Neillsville; four half-brothers, William Oldham of Strum, Charles Oldham and Ray Oldham of Neillsville and Lafayette Oldham of Helena, Oh.

Funeral services were held March 11 from Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home for Guy Oldham, 80, a resident of the Eau Claire Manor Nursing Home who died there March 8. The Rev. Ernest Maki of the Pentecostal Church of Eau Claire officiated, and burial followed in the Town of Levis Cemetery.

Mrs. Fred Peihl sang “Rock of Ages” and “In the Garden.” Mrs. Ernest Maki was the accompanist.
